Keep in mind that you can alter or substitute various vegetables for the zucchini or opt for a different meat. You can also add your favorite herbs or additional vegetables to this dish to suit it to your personal taste.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

  • A grill
  • A grilling wok
  • One pound kielbasa or other smoked sausage.

Slice the kielbasa on the bias into pieces about half an inch thick and place into grilling wok.

  3. Step 3

Wash zucchini and slice in half lengthwise. Slice on the bias into pieces about half an inch thick as well. Place in grilling wok.

  4. Step 4

Place wok on grill and close. Stir occasionally and continue to cook until meat and veggies are cooked to your liking.

  5. Step 5

When done, serve over rice or along with your favorite side dish.

Tips & Warnings
  • Add garlic powder to the mix as it cooks for added flavor.
  • Add other vegetables as well: asparagus added in the last 10 minutes of cooking makes a great addition.
  • The juices from the meat provides additional flavor to all vegetables in the wok.
  • Substitute smoke sausage for the kielbasa for a slightly different flavor.
  • The wok will be very hot when you are done cooking. Be sure to use pot holders for any handling of the grilling wok.
  • If removing the grilling wok from the grill be sure to set onto a pot holder or similar surface to prevent burning your counters and / or tables.
