Lying Can Be Detected By Body Language
Lying Can Be Detected By Body Language

Lying is a horrible thing to do. The best way to detect a liar is body language. If someone is lying their body language speaks louder than words. Try some of the following steps to recognize a liar.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Listening Ear
  • x-ray vision
  • A little detective work
  • Lots of questions
  1. Step 1

Normally when someone is brewing up a story, eye contact is absent. When someone lies they normally look towards the floor trying to figure out what to say next. Try to gain eye contact with them and remind them that lying is not nice and it is better to tell the truth.

  2. Step 2

They may begin to stutter or speak in a high pitched voice. If asked questions, they may repeat the same sentence over and over. Look for sweating or fidgeting.

  3. Step 3

When someone is lying they may start perspiring or may seem really nervous. If all of these signs come to sight, you may have caught someone in a big fib.
