"The Sims 2: Bon Voyage" is the sixth expansion pack for "The Sims 2" for the PC. The expansion pack focuses primarily on having your sims travel to beach and mountain resorts, and the game play is similar to "The Sims: Vacation" expansion pack for the original game. If you get stuck or have difficulty with anything in the game, the Sims 2 website offers help with tutorials and troubleshooting.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Go to the website for "The Sims 2: Bon Voyage" (see References). On this website you can read and learn more about the "Bon Voyage" expansion pack.

  2. Step 2

Scroll over the "Help" option at the top of the page and click on the "Tech Support" option. Click on the "Technical and Gameplay Answers" option below the "Tech Support" heading.

  3. Step 3

Type in your question for the problem you are experience with "Bon Voyage." Make sure that the problem is with the expansion pack and not the actual "Sims 2" game. This is the simplest way to find the solution to the problem you are experiencing. To fix the problem you may have to download a patch for the game which updates the game and expansion pack to solve the problem.

  4. Step 4

Click on the "Sims 2 Patch" option at the bottom of the screen. Scroll down and click on the "The Sims 2 Bon Voyage Patch" option to download the most current patch which corrects errors in the original expansion pack. After you've downloaded the patch, install it while the "Bon Voyage" expansion pack disc is in your CD-ROM drive.

  5. Step 5

Go to the Lock Gnome website to view a forum that includes "The Sims 2 Troubleshooting Thread" (see References). You can use this forum to ask other players if they have experienced the same problems. If the problem you've had in the game isn't a glitch and just a question about playing the game, then using a forum is a great resource for getting quick help.
