Things You'll Need:
- Movies
- Popcorn
- Snacks
- Move Posters
- Scrapbook/Journal
-
Step 1
Plan the movie night. Decorate the movie room with movie posters. Add pictures of the actors in the movie. Find free movie posters and pictures on the Internet at movie promotion sites. Download to computer and print out poster size pictures.
-
Step 2
Movie night is not a movie night unless there is plenty of popcorn. Serve microwave popcorn in popcorn boxes like the one's at movie theaters. Purchase replicas at local dollar stores. Also serve punch or soda to drink. Add a few other favorite family snacks.
-
Step 3
Start the movie night with a few funny classic cartoons. For example: Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, or other more recent cartoon favorites. These cartoons are available at many dollar stores. Have a short break and let every one use the short break to refill popcorn containers, munch snacks, and drink soda.
-
Step 4
Start the main attraction. Show family favorites like Monsters Inc, Wall-E, Shrek, Transformers. Rent at local video store or online at Blockbusters.
-
Step 5
Create a snazzy movie theme journal or scrapbook where family members record the movies watched along with their personal reviews.
