Eliminate Foot Odor

You can eliminate foot odor easily and naturally. All you need is some tea bags and water. Foot odor is embarrassing. My teenage son has a stinky feet problem and this really helps to control it. The tannin in the tea eliminates the bacteria that is the source of the problem and the epsom salts soothes your feet. Give it a try today.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Two tea bags of black tea
  • 8 cups of water
  • 2 Tbsp of Epsom salts
  • Microwave safe measuring cup or bowl
  • Plate
  • Shallow tub for soaking
  • Towel
  1. Step 1

Fill the tub with 6 cups of the water and place it on the floor in front of a chair. Put a towel underneath it to catch drips and spills.

  2. Step 2

Fill the microwave safe measuring cup or bowl with 2 cups of the water. Place in microwave on a plate for easy handling when hot, and heat to boiling...about 2 1/2 minutes in most microwaves.

  3. Step 3

Remove the water from the microwave with the plate, being careful not to spill any on yourself.

  4. Step 4

Drop the tea bags in the water and let brew for 3 minutes.

  5. Step 5

Remove the teabags with a slotted spoon, press all the tea out of them with the underside of another spoon. Add the epsom salts to the tea and stir until dissolved.

  6. Step 6

Pour the prepared tea into the tub with the water. Swish around to mix well. Check the water temperature to prevent burns. It should be cool enough, since you mixed the hot water with the cool water.

  7. Step 7

Sit in the chair and place your feet in the tub. Get a good book, watch TV or listen to music for 30 minutes.

  8. Step 8

Remove your feet from the soak after 30 minutes and dry them off. That's all there is to it. Do this foot soak every day for a week to eliminate foot odor. It will help to control it. If it starts to return, just soak again for a few days. Repeat as necessary.
