Sometimes the long hours in the hot sun and swimming pool results in a condition commonly called "swimmer hair" in which your hair turns green. Overchlorinated hair takes on a green cast and often smells bad as well. The condition usually affects people who swim frequently in pools with way too much chlorine, more often afflicting blonds than brunettes. Things You'll Need

  • 1/4 cup ketchup or tomato juice
  • 1/4 cup shampoo
  • 8 aspirin pills
  • 1/4 cup club soda

Instructions

      Massage ketchup or tomato juice into damp hair. Allow it to saturate for about 15 minutes. Rinse it out and shampoo as normal.

      Dissolve eight aspirins in a cup of warm water. Massage mixture into the scalp. Allow it to sit for about 12 minutes. Rinse completely.

      Massage club soda into damp hair. Allow it to sit for about 12 minutes. Rinse completely.
