When the kids are screaming for food what do you do? Do you panic and just drive through McDonald's and get a happy meal? Ok, that sounds like a great deal, even to me, but wouldn't you rather just save some money and make the meal at home instead? If you're like me you'd rather go to McDonald's, but luckily not everyone is like me, so here's a quick and easy way to make pizza for some hungry kids.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • English Muffin or tortilla chips or pita bread.
  • pizza sauce
  • shredded cheese
  • an oven
  • cookie sheet
  • pepperoni, or hamburger, or sausage. (cooked and ready to go)
  • tin foil
  1. Step 1

Cover the cookie sheet with tin foil for easy clean up. Separate the English Muffins on the cookie sheet.
While you are doing this step turn the oven on to 425 degrees to pre-heat.

  2. Step 2

Apply the pizza sauce according to your (or the kids) tastes. In other words, some kids like more sauce than others, so be aware.

  3. Step 3

Put the meat top of the sauce. At this point you can use pepperoni, or cooked sausage, or cooked hamburger. Pepperoni seems to be the easiest because there's no preparation before hand.

  4. Step 4

Put the cheese on top. Again, some kids like a lot and some not so much. Make it good for the kids.

  5. Step 5

Pop the tray in the oven (after it has reached 425, or course) for approximately 10 minutes or until they look like perfect little pizzas. Let them cool some before dishing them out.
Be prepared with at least 2 or 3 for each kid, because they will love them!

Tips & Warnings
  • Set your timer when you put them in so you don't forget about them. That burnt smell going through the house can be a little disturbing.
  • Let them cool some before letting the kids eat them. Nothing hurts more than a pizza burn on the top of your mouth!
  • Always use oven mits so you don't burn your paws, er hands.
