Things You'll Need:
- 1 small shitake mushroom
- 2 slices pepper jack cheese
- shredded lettuce.
- sliced onion
- sliced avocado
- 1 roasted Ortega chili (optional)
- 1 whole grain hamburger bun
- 1/4 cup ranch salad dressing.

Step 1
Grill shitaki mushroom about 3 minutes on each side or to your preferred taste.
Add the pepper jack cheese on top of the mushroom for the last 2 minutes on the grill. -
Step 2
Toast the bun and spread some of the ranch dressing on both pieces of your whole grain bun.
Top with shredded lettuce, onion slices and the tomato slice.
Add the shitake mushroom “burger”, topping it with avocado slices and 1 Ortega chile . ( you can pre-roast the chile if you prefer Roasted to uncooked peppers. -
Step 3
Drizzle with the remaining ranch dressing and put the top piece of the bun on.
Serve with your favorite tortilla chips and salsa. Now, all that's left to do is enjoy Your oh so delicious "burger".
