How to Wear a Corset
When worn safely and correctly, a corset enhances a woman's femininity and curves. Corsets flatten the tummy and draw in the waistline. This accentuates the hips and makes the bust appear larger. Some women wear these under their regular clothing to give them more shape. Other women restrict their corset wear to sensual bedroom use only. Usually a partner helps to tighten the laces, but a woman can easily dress in a corset without any help. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Loosen the corset lacing until you have a gap between 3 to 6 inches wide. Then, put on a tube top or camisole before putting on the corset. This protects the corset by preventing frequent washings. Wash the tube top or camisole instead.

2
Fasten the front bust clasps, beginning at one of the middle clasps. Some people recommend starting at the top, but this requires more work to fasten your way down rather than starting in the middle and completing the other top and bottom bust clasps.

Reach around your back and situate the loops by gently pulling from the very top and the very bottom. Alternate this pattern until you meet in the middle with tightened lacing. About halfway there, lean to one side and pull downward on the opposite side's bottom hem. This situates the waistline in the exact right place. Then, repeat by leaning to the other side.

Tie the end ribbons in a bow in back. Some people wrap them around the waist and tie them in front. It really doesn't matter which way you go. The bow simply helps hold the laces in place.

Tips & Warnings
If it looks like the corset is out of balance on your body and isn't tightening correctly, loosen the laces and start again. Once a corset gets into shape for several hours, it tends to keep that shape for the next occasion. Get it correct the first time.
