You probably use a dishcloth on a regular basis. Dishcloths are very handy as you can use them for multiple purposes; washing dishes, washing the counter or table, washing the floor, cleaning the bathroom, and more. Since there are so many different uses for a dishcloth, they tend to get very dirty. Thankfully there is a relatively easy way to remove this dirt and grime from a dishcloth.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Gather a one gallon plastic bucket and fill it with a couple inches of bleach. A one gallon plastic bucket that you would normally purchase ice cream in will work perfect.

  2. Step 2

Place the dirty dishcloth in the bucket of bleach. If the dishcloth is not completely covered and soaked in bleach, add more bleach so that it is covered completely.

  3. Step 3

Place the bucket out of reach of children or pets, and let it sit out all night. If you started this in the morning hours, leave it out for about 8 hours.

  4. Step 4

After the dishcloth has soaked, take it out and rinse under cold water. After you have completely rinsed the dishcloth free of bleach, let it out to dry. After it has completely dried, you are ready to use it again. You should also notice that it will have a new and fresh scent to it.
