How to Make Tasty Grilled Vegetables
Grilling vegetables in a foil wrap keeps them moist, yet crunchy, and keeps flavors locked in. The foil wrap also keeps clean-up to a minimum. Add seasoning and butter, and you have a side of vegetables fit for any barbecue. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- 2 ears of corn
- 4 red potatoes
- 1 green pepper
- 1 sweet pepper
- 1 package onion soup mix
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 ft. aluminum foil
- 2 tsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. basil

Cut each ear of corn into three sections. Wash the potatoes and quarter them, leaving the skins on or removing them. Cut the green pepper and sweet pepper into large pieces.

Put all of the vegetables into a large bowl. Then in a small bowl combine the onion soup mix, oil, basil, and pepper. Add to the vegetables and toss to coat all of the vegetables with the seasoning.

Place the vegetables into the middle of the foil and top with butter. Fold in the foil and seal tightly. Double wrap the foil to insure it is properly sealed.

Place the foil package on the grill over medium heat and allow to cook for 30 minutes or until the potatoes and corn are tender. You will need to turn over the foil package partway through to ensure even cooking on all sides. Check the vegetables a few times for excessive charring.
