Web submission is necessary for anyone who owns a website or blog . Submitting your website to major search engines such as Google gets your site into the public view and allows people who are surfing the web to better find your site. Naturally the higher up you are on a search engine (determined by many factors) , the more visitors you will get

Step 1

Submitting To Google.com

Access the following web address :

www.google.com/addurl/
Step 2

Enter the URL of the website you would like to submit , fill in the confirmation code , and press submit . You will then be directed to a page confirming that your page has been submitted to Google.com

Note : Submitting your website to Google.com or any other major search engine is always free of charge.
Step 3

Submitting To Yahoo.com

Log on to your internet browser and access the following website :

https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/submit
Step 4

Once you are on the website simply click on "Submit a Website or Webpage".
Step 5

Enter the address of your website or webpage and press submit . Upon pressing submit you will be prompted to a page confirming that your website has been submitted to Yahoo.com.

When submitting your website or content I recommend using a free web submission website . There are many submission sites that charge a fee and promise more comprehensive results and features, however there are free ones that are just as good. One such website that is quite popular with this is freewebsubmission.com , this site offers website submissions to many of the major search engines (including Google and Yahoo) , along with many other other browsers and directories.
