Instructions
  1. Step 1

If you have just been sexually assaulted by someone, or you have not yet reported a sexual assault, please call the police department immediately. It is important that whoever has committed such an awful crime is caught and punished for the pain they have caused.

  2. Step 2

Talk to someone on the phone and explain everything that has jsut happened to you. If you don't know anyone that you would feel comfortable talking to, consider calling RAINN (Rape, Abuse and **** National Network) at 1-800-656-HOPE. There are people that are willing to listen to you.

  3. Step 3

Seek out a trustworthy counselor. It is extremely important that you talk to people, and let these awful thoughts and feelings out of your head. Find a counselor that you feel comfortable talking to.

  4. Step 4

Seek medical treatment. If you are at all worried that you may have a sexually transmitted disease, please seek out appropriate medical treatment. You will not be the first sexually assaulted patient that the doctor has had. There are tests and treatments that can only be provided by a doctor.
