Free People Search

Would you like to reconnect with old work buddies, old classmates from elementary or high school or long lost relatives? With the proliferation of web sites all devoted to finding people, your job just became easier.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Try social networking sites. The obvious sites to start with would be Linkedin.com for work related friends or Facebook.com or myspace.com. But a new site I just found is mylife.com. You have to first register, but then over 750 million profiles are available to search. If you don't immediately find who you are looking for, MyLife keeps searching and provides you with updates. Their about page says they are the largest database of online and offline information.

  2. Step 2

For another place to search try yasni.com. Yasni crawls over 100 people related websites to search for email addresses, pictures, phone numbers and videos. The website asks you to create your own profile so others may find you. But this may be just the search engine you need.

  3. Step 3

For United States and international searches, try Infobel.com. It has the worlds largest directory of white pages sources according to its website. This site has a reverse phone number directory, a reverse address directory, a business search and a residential search. So far, this is one of the few international people search engines I have found.

Tips & Warnings
  • Keep trying! No search is going to be easy.
  • Try every website that is free. There is no reason to pay someone for what you can do for free.

on 7/28/2009 It's amazing how some of the social networking sites have re-connected me with people long ago. And they are all over the country! Thanks for the resources.
