Instructions

    • 1

Go to you local supermarket and purchase Distilled(white) vinegar 5% acidity and Selsun Blue listed above. Go to GNC or a comparable supplement store and purchase coconut oil and zinc(chelated is fine).

    • 2

The Coconut oil and zinc will be you dietary supplement. You must take a tablespoon of coconut oil each morning BEFORE you eat. It is solid below 72 degree F and liquid above that temperature. Take coconut oil with some water to help you swallow. It will may give you the runs at first. This is normal. Take zinc with your first meal.

    • 3

Vinegar and Selsun Blue will be your topical treatment. Get into the shower and wet your hair. After your scalp is wet, apply a generous amount of vinegar to your scalp and massage it deep in. Scratch it in your head. It will burn at first. Use a good amount. At least 5 tablespoons. Be careful not to get it in your eyes. Keep it on for as long as you shower. Rinse it off when you are done showering. No matter how much you rinse, it will smell. Do this if you are staying home or if you have a day off. You will smell for a few hours, it is unavoidable. Be sure to rinse it off with COLD water. Always rinse off your scalp with cold water from now on.

    • 4

After you completed step 3, you will notice that your scalp won't itch anymore. You will flake severely for the next few days. This is normal, do not freak out. It will gradually lessen until you don't flake at all.

    • 5

The next day, you will use Selsun Blue. You will follow step 3 exactly, just replace vinegar with Selsun Blue.

    • 6

Wait 2 days before you repeat steps 3 and 4.

    • 7

Gradually, the vinegar will stop burning and your dandruff will decrease dramatically. Continue to take your supplements. The zinc prevents the fungus from growing and the coconut oil will keep your skin and scalp healthy. Eventually, you will not have to repeat any steps. You must follow this guide for at least 2 months. Eventually, you will not need the vinegar.

Tips & Warnings

  • Be patient. I've tried this and it works for me. I've had severe dandruff for over 5 years after high school. It's much better to rid this permanently than to treat the symptoms. Stick with this for at least 2 month and I guarantee a HUGE improvement.

  • Avoid wearing hats or caps. Go outside and let the sun hit your head. I used to wear caps all the time and the fungus that cause dandruff loves it. It's especially bad if you start sweating while wearing a cap. A bad hair day beats dandruff ANY DAY. I know from experience. If anything, throw your hats away. Chances are the will still have the fungus on them.

  • Wash your pillow case or get a new pillow altogether. Like your hat, the fungus may be on your pillow. Also wash your bed sheets, with bleach if possible.

  • During your treatment, if you want to temporarily "hide" your dandruff, go out and buy "Lubriderm Skin Nourishing Moisturizing Lotion: with Shea and Cocoa butters" I've used many brands and this brand works the best and has a faint pleasing odor. Eventually, you will not need it.

  • The picture of the dandruff posted is the kind that I had. Severe. Head and shoulders does NOT work. Follow my steps and be persistent.

  • Good luck! I've had good luck with this method and I hope it helps you!

  • The 5% distilled vinegar will burn. This is normal. Don't freak out. No pain, no gain. Also the coconut oil may be tough to swallow at first. Think of it as medicine. You don't take it because it taste good, you take it because it's good for you.
