Appliances can be a costly necessity. A few simple steps
can make cleaning it a easier task and will make it
last for years to come.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Never use anything abrasive on your glass top. Steelwool is a big no-no.
If you get black spots on it, you can use a single razor blade to scrap it off.
A stove top cleaner can be used to help loosen the grime up.
You can purchase it at your local Wal mart store or at some hardware stores.
The name of the brand that I use is made by WEIMEN and is called GLASS COOK TOP Cleaner.

Always use plain water and a soft sponge or paper towel to clean the top; never use detergent.
Detergent will leave a build up.

Keeping the stove top clean will ensure even heat over the burner.

when ever you spill anything or have a boil over, clean it ASAP , to prevent having to scrub it up later.

  2. Step 2
    Smooth bottom

Some people say don't use a cast iron pan on your glass top stove. If you do make sure that the bottom of pan or pot
is flat with no ridges or ruff spots.
Run your hand over the bottom. If it feels smooth there should be no problem.
If there is a little piece on the bottom that might be suspicious, you might try filing it to make it smooth.
Use medium to medium high and always heat your pans well before putting oil or cooking with them.

  3. Step 3
    Scraping glass top

    To clean your glass top
    For burned-on soil

    Make sure stove is cool

    1. Apply a few drops of cleaning cream , soiled area.

    2. Using a damp paper towel, rub cream onto the burned-on area and wait a few minutes for it to loosen the grim.

    3. Carefully scrape remaining soil with a razor scraper. Hold scraper at a 30º angle against the ceramic surface.

    ENJOY
