Graham Cracker crusts are one of the easiest crusts to make. But this article will show you how to make it even easier.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 9 graham cracker boards
  • heavy duty quart baggie
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 6 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • rolling pin, mallet, or something else to bash the crackers with
  1. Step 1

Place the cracker boards into a heavy duty baggie--breaking the boards to fit. Press as much air out of the bag as possible.

  2. Step 2

Commence to breaking the crackers with a rolling pin, mallet, or other heavy object. Try to avoid items that would puncture the bag as you will need the bag to remain intact for the following steps. Open the bag slightly and press out the air as needed. Crumbs should be fine with some coarse bits.

  3. Step 3

Open the bag and add the sugar. Jostle around till the sugar is mixed with the crumbs.

  4. Step 4

Open the bag again and add the butter or margarine. Jostle the mixture around again until the crumbs are coated. Press the mixture into a 9 inch pie pan and bake at 300 degrees for 10 minutes.

Tips & Warnings
  • Putting butter or water on your hands seems to help with the pressing part.
