Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Purchase your seeds for your flowers in the off season. This will help to prevent spending allot of money in the same season for gardening. If you are lucky you may find a sale on flower seeds in the off season as well.

  2. Step 2

Ask other gardeners for starts from their flowers. Many gardeners may be willing to give away pieces of there plants, before their plants take over everything in their garden.

  3. Step 3

You may also want to start a garden club with gardening friends and have everyone bring a piece of there favorite plant(s) or flower(s) to share. Everyone in the club can trade their flower and plant parts with each other and no one should have to spend their hard earned cash on making a flower garden.

  4. Step 4

Wait until the beginning of June to purchase flowers for your flower garden. Often times, greenhouses discount the annuals and a few weeks later they discount the perennials. Buying flowers at a discount should aide in your venture to plant a cheap flower garden.
