2. Observe how the diaper's inner lining is attached to the outer layer. Most linings are fixed with Velcro, but some may use plastic snaps. The lining should easily but firmly attach to the outer lining.

3. Detach the inner lining from the outer lining. Dispose of the inner lining.

4. Reattach a fresh liner into the swim diaper.
