How to Make a Stock Pie Chart for Free Online

Investors use various tools to keep track of their stock portfolios. An easy to read visual method of keeping track of your stocks is to create a pie chart online. There are various programs that create data charts, but most come at a price and with a learning curve. Investors who want to create a pie chart of their stocks quickly can use a free online pie chart creation tool.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Stock names and values
  1. Step 1

    Navigate to the "Make A Pie Chart" page of the "Math Warehouse" website (the link can be found in the "Resources" section at the bottom of this page).

  2. Step 2

    Scroll down to "Step 1" and choose to have the chart legend on the side of the chart or next to each pie slice.

  3. Step 3

    Select the number of sections for the chart in the "How Many Sections" drop down menu.

  4. Step 4

    Type the name of each stock or the stock's ticker symbol in the "Name of Section" boxes.

  5. Step 5

    Insert the number that corresponds to each stock in the "Amount" boxes.

  6. Step 6

    Press the "Make Chart" button to create the pie chart.

  7. Step 7

    Right-click the chart and choose "Save Image As," name the chart and click "Save" to save the chart to your computer.
