1. Visit consumer review sites. There are many sites out there that review products such as GPS systems to find the very best one. These review sites put the GPS system through rigorous tests to determine the overall best GPS system. I have included a few links in the resource section.

2. Ask your friends. Most of your friends probably have GPS systems so why not ask them. Nothing is better then an un-biased review from your friend. Ask them if you can borrow their GPS system for a day or two to see if it fits your needs. Most people don't utilize their GPS system everyday so this shouldn't be a problem.

3. Visit Amazon or Walmart's website. These site provide excellent customer reviews on all their products. All you need to do is search for "GPS System" on their website and you will be able to see the products and their ratings. You can even sort by highest rating to find the best GPS system according to people just like you.

4. Determine which GPS system is the best for you. Before you begin searching for a GPS system, decide on a price range you are willing to spend and stick to it.
