Things You'll Need:
- Web page
- Text editor
- Adobe Flash player
- Flash code
- Flash video
-
Step 1
Install a previously developed piece of Flash code to a Web page by first finding the files that were generated when the Flash video was produced.
-
Step 2
Open the .html file.
-
Step 3
Find the size of the Flash file. This will let you know what size the Flash file will be once on your Web page. Look for the text: width="" height="" (as shown in the image). If this is not the size you prefer, you will need to go back to the developer and request that the Flash file be regenerated with the size you require for your Web page.
-
Step 4
Copy the code in the .html file, starting with <object to </object>.
-
Step 5
Open your Web page with a text editor. All Windows operating systems come equipped with Notepad, which is a text editor. To find it, click the "Start" button, then "Programs" > "Accessories" > "Notepad."
-
Step 6
Paste the Flash code in the Web page in the place you would like the Flash file to appear.
-
Step 7
Move the Flash files to the same directory your Web pages are in.
-
Step 8
Open a browser; then open your Web page. You should now see the Flash file playing in your Web page.
