They say blondes have more fun. In fact their blonde and luminous hair is what gives that aura around their faces and they seem so much more approachable. Hence the perception of fun.
Sometimes a drastic change in hair color is a lot cheaper than changing ones wardrobe. It’s like a whole new person all over again. Plus a lot of women and men reported feeling being a lot sexier and less invisible, thanks to the extra attention that this change would provide. Even spouses and friends react differently to a person whenever the hair color changes drastically. It’s almost like they are discovering a new you.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Turning blonde on a budget is a whole lot easier than anyone thinks.
    All you need is:
Feria bleach blonding kit (At any super market) $9
Plastic bowl (or a disposable plastic cup)
Plastic flat brush special for color $3
Demi-permanent color or permanent color in any shade of blonde $ 6
Shampoo (you should have that already)

  2. Step 2

Apply the mixed Feria bleach blonding kit on unwashed hair to keep the sebum on the scalp, follow direction to mix the Feria bleach blonding kit.
Monitor the bleach to the desired blond shade.
You can stop whenever you think your blonde is light enough and that it would be a good base to your desired color.

  3. Step 3

Shampoo your hair to make sure all residues are removed.
Apply half of the conditioner provided with the Feria bleach blonding kit . Let it set for 2 minutes.
    Rinse with warm water.
Mix your demi-permanent color or permanent color like stated by the manufacturer.
You can pick a neutral, an ash or a golden shade. It all depends on which blonde you are going for.
And Voila! You are a blonde girl now! Dramatic color change is definitely something to try especially if it’s affordable.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure the color is not lighter than your bleached result. In doubt, one tone up will ensure you have professional looking results no matter what.
  • Mix Feria bleach blonding kit following directions but use the brush and bowl method to obtain more precise application strand by strand.
  • Always perform skin allergy test 48h before using it on your scalp.
  • The tub can get slippery after using the Feria conditioner. Be extra cautious.
  • Use the gloves within the kit to avoid skin burns. They are latex free and very comfortable.
