Things You'll Need:
- large thick hair scruchie
- a glue gun
- craft items, glue on eyes, pipe cleaners, fuzzy balls
- a children to test this on
-
Step 1
Gather your supplies, scrunchie, glue gun and craft supplies. You will need to get a scrunchie in the correct size before starting this project. To determine the correct size place the scrunchie around your lense. The bigger the lense the bigger the scrunchie that you will need. Be sure that you are covering up any working parts of the camera such as the flash mechanism or frequently used buttons. Do not choose any craft supplies that could do damage to your camera such as glitter that could get on your lense.
-
Step 2
All you are going to do is lay out your scrunchie good and flat, its pretty easy because you are going to turn this scrunchie in a little puppet, I glue the largest eyes to mine, you may then add to your scruchie to create a character. I suggest doing multiple characters for the many different personalities of children. For some examples you may wont to glur some feathers and eyes on to make a "birdie" for the child to watch. You can use a pink scruchie and make a halo or small crown for a princess scrunchie. Be creative and design you scrunchie. Remember though to use a hot glue gun since once dry it will not do damage to your camera. Once you are finished allow to dry.

Step 3
One you have your selection of scruchie puppets created, choose a subject. If you have children in your home they will work. Remember you are just trying to get their eyes in direct line of your lense. Put the scruchie onto you lense, make sure the puppet scrunchie is facing your child subject when you put it on. Tell the child you have someone who wants to met them, it the fairy princess, (PUT THE SCRUCHIE ON FROM HERE) the princess wants to if youd like to take some pictures to gether. While you are photography the child talk as you are the scrunchie princess not the one taking the pictures. Since the sruchie is wrapped around your lense your photos will appear that the child is staring directly into the camera.
