Instructions

    • 1

Put the sugar, milk, butter and cocoa into a medium to large pot. Set on medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring continuously. Boil for one or two minutes, stirring the whole time.

    • 2

Turn off the heat but leave the pot on the burner and stir in the peanut butter. Leaving the pot on the burner while mixing in the peanut butter allows it to melt and mix in easier.

    • 3

Remove the pot from the burner after the peanut butter is melted and mixed in. Add the oats and vanilla. Stir well.

    • 4

Drop spoonfuls of the cookie mix onto a sheet of wax paper. You can eat them warm or wait for them to harden.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can use either creamy or crunchy peanut butter.

  • If the cookies are a little too hard or dry for you, use less oats.

  • You also can also pour the mix into a pan, like fudge, instead of making drops.

  • Never use over 3 cups of oats, this will cause your cookies to become VERY HARD and DRY
