Whiten Teeth

There are so many options to get your teeth whiter these days. Different methods work in different ways for people. My article shows the many ways you can get your teeth whiter over time. These ways are fairly easy and effective.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Tooth Brush
  • Tooth Paste
  • Floss
  1. Step 1

Brush your teeth with tooth paste that contains baking soda and peroxide with whitening. Brush with this toothpaste two to three times a day. Use a circular motion while brushing. Try flossing before you brush.

  2. Step 2

If using toothpaste isn't effective enough, try buying an at-home teeth whitening kit. These kits may provide a cheaper alternative to what the dentist may provide. Read all the directions carefully while using these kits. Try using kits such as Plus White Teeth Whitener and Day White/ Nite White Teeth Whiteners.

  3. Step 3

Make your own paste by combining baking soda and peroxide. This combination can whiten your teeth over time.

  4. Step 4

See your dentist. Some dentists provide their own whitening kits that can have a more lasting result.

Tips & Warnings
  • Eat right. Avoid brushing your teeth right away after eating acidic foods.
  • Wait at least twenty minutes before brushing your teeth after you eat.
  • Don't swallow the paste.
  • Don't use peroxide with a mouth injury.
  • Try not to brush more than three times a day.
  • Results don't appear overnight.
  • Some products may irritate sensitive gums.
