How to Write Baby Shower Thank Yous

Be sure to keep all the gift cards from your shower gifts.

Sending out a thank-you card for a gift you've received shows that you are acknowledging the thought, time and effort the recipient put into it. The task of sending many thank-you cards after a baby shower can be daunting. The cards don't have to be formal or lengthy; have fun with them and you'll be done in no time.

Things You'll Need

• Envelopes and postage stamps
• List of gifts and who gave them

Instructions

1. Keep a list of gifts and who gave them during the shower or shortly afterward.

2. Purchase enough cards to send all gift-givers. Have enough postage stamps on hand to mail out the cards.

3. Address each envelope and place a postage stamp on it. Put the envelopes in a pile to one side of you.

4. Write each thank-you card. Use the recipient's name and thank her for attending the shower. Tell her how much you loved the gift and why. Make her feel appreciated.

5. When each card is finished, place it in the appropriate envelope, seal it, and put it to the other side of you in a pile to keep them organized. They're ready to be mailed.
