How to Turn Off Silent Mode on a Nokia 6300

There may be times when you are not available to accept phone calls and will need to place your cell phone in silent mode to prevent inappropriate ringing. The Nokia 6300 phone allows you to select what is known as "profiles" in order to choose appropriate ringtone settings for different events and environments. Use this guide to help you turn off the silent mode setting when you are once again available to accept incoming calls.

Instructions

1. Go to your phone's main menu and select the "Settings" feature.

2. Locate the "Profile" option.

3. Scroll down and choose the appropriate profile for your incoming calls. You can choose between "Normal," "Vibrate," "Meeting," "Outdoor," or your own custom profile.

4. Select the appropriate profile by pushing the black select key found in the center of your phone.
