How to Update Flash OCX
With the Internet constantly becoming faster and web designers pushing their websites further with moving graphics and video, it is important to stay up to date with Internet plug-ins. Internet plug-ins help websites display normally, without slowing down and crashing the Web browser. This holds true for Flash OCX, an Internet-based application that streams video and audio from the publisher's site to the user's computer.

2
Click "Agree and Install Now," then "Save File" when asked if you would like to save the file.

3
Double click the downloaded file. It will appear in either a "Downloads" pop-up window or as an icon on the desktop. Click "OK" and then "Run" when asked if you would like to run the program.

Close out all programs using the Internet. This includes the Web browser, Microsoft Outlook, instant messengers and iTunes. Some of these programs will be updated when the new version of Flash is installed, and this is not possible while they are open.

Click "OK" and then "Next" when the installation wizard launches. Follow the remaining prompts to complete the installation. If you get a message that there is no need to install this version of Flash, it is because the current Flash OCX on the computer is up to date.
