Love your sliding glass doors but hate cleaning them? Sliding glass doors are a great way to enjoy the scenery behind your house or allow light to flood the room, however, cleaning them can be a pain! Here's an easy way to get a streak-free-shine!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Bucket of soap and water
  • Squeegee
  1. Step 1

No matter how much you try, normal window cleaners have a tendency of leaving those unwanted streaks. By the time you're done you have a wad of paper towels that have gone to waste and windows that are still unclean! Instead, try using just plain soap and water. Soap and water will remove the grime and get your windows sparkly clean.

  2. Step 2

Use a rag or car washing sponge (for those hard to reach places) to scrub down the window with the soap and water. Be sure to ring out the sponge or rag before wiping down the window to avoid dripping. If dripping occurs place a towel down where the floor meets the window.

  3. Step 3

Once the window is covered in soap and water get your squeegee and squeegee from top to bottom in a straight line. Continue until the window is finished. The dirt will just glide off & will leave you with a streak-free shine without the hassle and hard work.
