Step 1
Visit Zwinky.com and download the software. You will be prompted to create your Zwinky account.

Choose what type of Zwinky you want to create. You can create a male or female character, and you can choose whether to create a Hottie or Cutie. Cuties are aimed at young users, and have limited communication controls for safety purposes, and Hotties are the typical Zwinky users.

Click on the Appearance tab to select your Zwinky's basic features such as skin tone, hair style and eye color. Select the feature you wish to edit from the drop-down menu and click on an item to add it to your appearance. When you are ready, click on "Save Outfit" to save your progress.

Click on the "Launch Wardrobe" link to customize your Zwinky with hundreds of different outfits and accessories. Select the items you want your Zwinky to wear and click "Save Outfit." Your Zwinky is now complete.

Click on the "Share Your Zwinky" link to share your creation on Myspace or other websites. There will be two boxes filled with HTML code, one labeled "Myspace" and the other labeled "Other Websites." If you want to share your Zwinky on Myspace, copy the code in the "Myspace" box. Log into Myspace.com, click "edit profile," paste the code in any box where you want your Zwinky to appear and click save. To add your Zwinky to a blog or another site, copy the text in the "Other Websites" box, paste it into a text entry field and save.
