How to Create Bedhead
Bedhead is a sexy, low-maintenance look for both men and women. With a little bit of product and an optional hair dryer, it's possible to look freshly--and fashionably--mussed and rumpled. Bedhead is possible whether your hair is cut straight or jagged, so change up your look! Does this Spark an idea?

1
Wash and towel-dry the hair.
-
2
Apply product to the hair. If you're using hair gel or wax, pour a nickel or quarter-sized dollop into the palm of the hand. Work it for a moment to heat and soften the product. For hair spray, spritz a liberal amount onto the hair.

3
Starting at the back of the head, pull small sections of hair outward while smoothing the product through. For longer hair, give a slight twist to the ends to add separation. Don't over-tease the hair. According to Jane Bullock of Hair Boutique, "Don't fuss with it anymore than you have to...less is more."
-
4
Do a quick, optional blow dry to set the styling product for long-lasting wear. Use a low temperature and work quickly; you don't want to overdo it and mess up the style.
-
5
Add dimension to the front and sides by pulling a few strands out to dangle in front of the eyes and ears. Once again, a slight twist of the ends will do much to sweeten the 'do.
