Gravol is an antihistamine used to treat motion sickness, nausea, vomiting, flu-like symptoms and sleeping disorders. People with extreme motion sickness or sleep disorders may have to take it on a daily basis. No matter what reason Gravol is being used, the directions should be followed precisely.
Talk with your doctor to find out if Gravol will work for you. Let them know about any type of allergies you have, whether it be food, plant or medicine. They will prescribe a recommended dose if they think it will work for you. Depending on your particular case, a dose ranges from .5 mg to 100 mg.
Take Gravol one hour before traveling if using it for motion sickness. If using it for any other reason, take it with each of your three meals.
Continue taking Gravol for as long as your symptoms are apparent. Check in with your doctor after one week to let them know about any side effects you may have.
