Have you ever wondered how to play "Around the World"? Well, this is the place to learn!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A Basketball
  • A Basketball Net
  • Chalk or Tape
  1. Step 1

First thing's first. Grab some tape or some chalk. Mark down with the chalk or tape where the blocks of a basketball lane would be. Then, in the picture above, the second hash marks on the lane above the blocks are your next spot to mark. Place down a piece of tape or use chalk to mark those spots. Now, the elbows also need to be marked. Lastly, the foul line must be made. These are the spots you will shoot from.

  2. Step 2

The first player will shoot from the first space, where the block would be. If he/she makes it he gets to go to the next spot. If he misses, he has an oppurtunity to chance. A chance is a second shot. However, if he misses it, he has to go back to the beggining. If he missed his chance on the first spot, he must skip his next turn. You have the oppurtunity to not chance if you miss your shot. This will end your turn, but you can start from the spot you left off on your next turn. When you miss a chance or decide to not chance, your turn is over and the next player goes.

  3. Step 3

Once you make your shot from all 7 spots. You must go back around shooting again from that 7th spot. However, if you miss a chance on that spot on your second time around, you don't skip your turn and if you miss a chance on a different spot on your second time around, you only have to go back to the beggining of that round, otherwise the beggining of your second time around.

  4. Step 4

Once you've completed both times around, you must take a right-handed lay-up and then a left-handed one. If you chance one of these and miss, you go all the way back to the beggining of the game! If you've made both lay-ups, you must agree between all of the players on a trick shot to finish it out. If you chance on this shot and miss, you also go all the way back to start!

  5. Step 5

Once somebody hits the final trick shot, the other player has one shot to make it all the way to the end on one turn. If he does, it's a tie and the players can decide on how to break it. If he can't the player to make it there wins! HAVE FUN!
