How to Repair a Blackberry Pearl Trackball

The BlackBerry Pearl was Research In Motion's first BlackBerry communication device to include a camera and media player. The Pearl was first released in 2006, and unlike the traditional BlackBerry device, it has a modified keyboard that permits the phone to be smaller than other BlackBerrys. The Pearl was the first BlackBerry to use a trackball instead of a scroll wheel to permit horizontal and vertical scrolling. A common problem with the BlackBerry Pearl Trackball is that it can become inoperative due to build-up of dirt in and requires cleaning.
