How to Attach an Upholstery Cleaner to a Hoover Carpet Cleaner
Hoover is a common household name for vacuums and carpet cleaners. If you own a Hoover carpet cleaner, your investment will pay off because you can clean your own carpets, rugs and upholstered furniture, saving the money you might otherwise pay a professional cleaner. Unplug your Hoover carpet cleaner, put it in the upright position and remove the attachment hose from the rack.

Open the hose port on the bottom front part of the carpet cleaner. Insert the end of the attachment hose that is the same size as the port. Slide it in until it locks.

Plug the solution tube into the solution port that is located on the bottom side of the carpet cleaner. The solution tube sticks out from the hose port you just inserted in Step 2.

Slide the upholstery cleaner attachment onto the other end of the hose (the connector). On the Hoover carpet cleaner, there is a tab on the connector and a hole on the attachment.

Listen and feel for the hole of the attachment to lock onto the tab. You are ready to use your Hoover carpet cleaner upholstery attachment.
