How to Address Wedding Response Cards
Wedding response cards are a courteous way to make it easy for your wedding guests to notify you whether they will be able to attend. Addressing the response cards is easy if you're familiar with the proper etiquette. Including pre-addressed, stamped response cards with your wedding invitations will make it as simple as possible to ensure that your guests get their RSVPs back to you in a timely manner.

1
Decide where you would like all of the response cards to be delivered to. Traditional places are the home of the bride, the home of the bride's parents or the home of the couple. All of the response cards should be addressed to the same location.
-
2
Write the recipient's address in the upper left corner of the response card envelope. This will ensure that if the response card does not make it to the bride, it will make it back to the guest who sent it.

3
Write the address of the location to which you would like the cards to be returned. The address should be written in the middle of the envelope and justified to the right, and the envelope should look similar to any other addressed letter. List the first and last name(s) of the recipient(s) on the first line, the house number and street name on the second line and the city, state and zip code on the third line.

4
Affix a postage stamp to all response cards. It is widely considered in poor taste to require the guests to pay for postage themselves.

Tips & Warnings
Double-check with friends and family to ensure that you have their addresses correct before addressing invitations and response cards. If you don't want to address your response cards by hand, the printer who prints your wedding invitations can do them for you if you supply him with the addresses.
