There are several types of Jacques Lemans Geneve watch for both men and women. These analog watches can be found at select accessories shops and some upscale department stores. Many but not all of the watches are equipped with alarms. Before you get frustrated trying to set an alarm that doesn't exist, look for the word "Alarm" on the face. You will also notice that the watches with alarms will have two small clock faces within the main face. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Look at your watch's face. The small clock face on the left, called the reference hand, is the one you'll need for the alarm. The internal face on the right is a second hand only and is inconsequential for this process.
-
2
Pull the watch's crown, which is the large, metal knob on the right side of the face, out as far as it goes. You will feel two slight clicks.Press down on the "pusher," which is the smaller knob on the right of your watch, for exactly two seconds. You will notice the minute hand on the small clock face jump to indicate you are in alarm setting mode.

Press on the pusher to adjust the alarm face to the time when you want the alarm to go off. Give it a short push to move the time up by the minute, hold it for two second spurts to jump an hour at a time and hold it down for longer intervals than that to progress even faster. Stop when you reach the time you want.

Press the crown back in as far as it will go. To turn the alarm off, press the pusher for one second. To turn it on again, push for two seconds or more. You will hear a tone each time you turn it off or on.

Tips & Warnings
If you reset the general time on your watch you will need to reset the alarm as well.
The Geneve watches that have alarms are 12-hour watches. They do not denote a.m. or p.m. Keep this in mind before setting the alarm. You will need to turn it off as needed unless you want it to ring twice a day. If you don't push the crown back to its starting position, you will not set the alarm. In addition, you risk allowing water to leak into the watch even if it is waterproof. So make sure you do not forget this important final step.
