Sizzlits are thin, die-cut templates used with die-cutting machines. Sizzix manufactures the templates and the die-cutting machines. Die cuts are used in scrapbooking and card making. Sizzlits are available in many different designs and patterns. Alphabets, borders and images are available and sold separately or in sets. It is easy to use Sizzlits to make paper crafts.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Sizzlits
  • Die-cutting machine compatible with Sizzlits
  • Cardstock paper
  1. Step 1

Cut out a piece of cardstock paper roughly the size of the Sizzlits die-cut template.

  2. Step 2

Position the Sizzlits die-cut template on top the acrylic cutting plate provided with the die-cutting machine. Place the Sizzlits face up on the cutting plate with the cutting side exposed.

  3. Step 3

Place the cardstock over the Sizzlits template.

  4. Step 4

Put the second cutting plate over the cardstock. Now the cardstock and Sizzlits are sandwiched between the cutting plates.

  5. Step 5

Slide the entire layered die-cut into the die-cutting machine to complete the die-cutting process. The actual cutting process will vary slightly depending on the die-cutting machine being used.

  6. Step 6

Remove the cutting plates and Sizzlits template from around the cardstock. Use the paper die-cut for projects.
