Acne is a skin condition that afflicts many people in their early teens or 20s. When the acne stops and the lesions clear, an early acne scar can appear that is actually an inflammation of the area. These generally take between six months and one year to heal, and after this point if this type of irritation has not healed it will generally become an actual scar. Good diet and exercise are important to heal these scars and minimize damages. There are also some treatments that can be applied topically to assist in healing.

- Aloe vera
- Omega-3 fatty acids
- Coriander juice
- Turmeric powder
- Lemon and orange peel
Apply aloe vera to the scars for healing. Aloe vera is known to be helpful for healing and regenerating the skin when applied daily.
Eat a diet low in starches, sugars and harmful fats, and be sure to get plenty of omega-3 essential fatty acids in the diet. A fast for three to 10 days that only includes raw fruits and vegetables can improve acne scars and help the skin regenerate.
Apply 1 tsp. coriander juice mixed with a pinch of turmeric powder to the scars with a cotton ball to help heal the acne scars.
Apply garlic directly to the scars, and include plenty of garlic in the diet to reduce inflammation and to prevent infection.
Grate orange and lemon peel and cucumber together, and mix with a little grated garlic and ginger. Add a little honey to the mixture, and apply to the scars. Leave the mixture on the scars for 10 minutes before rinsing it off.
