Things You'll Need:
- Rice
- Water
- Bowl
- Pan
- Stove
-
Step 1
The first thing you will want to do is measure out the amount of rice you are going to be using. A good rule of thumb is for every one cup of rice you should use one and a half cups of water
-
Step 2
The next thing you will want to do is rinse and clean your rice just so that is completely pure and ready to be eaten.
-
Step 3
You will then want to get one of your pots that comfortably fits both the water and rice in it and place that on the stove.
-
Step 4
Next you will want to pour in your rice and water into the pan that you have placed on the stove.
-
Step 5
From here turn on your stove at a nice medium level of heat.
-
Step 6
Once your pot starts to boil place the lid on the pot with a minimal gap for breathing room and turn the heating down to a medium lower heat.
-
Step 7
Continue checking your rice until ready. This time frame could range right around 11 minutes give or take depending on the levels you cooked it at.
-
Step 8
Once you notice it is ready you will want to carefully drain it to your liking.
-
Step 9
From here let it sit for a few minutes for a comfortable level to eat it at and then serve it up.
