I read an article once where a top model was asked how she kept her skin so radiant and healthy looking and her advice was to "scrub, scrub, scrub". Personally, I do not keep a lot of herbs or oils etc. on hand nor do I spend a lot of cash on beauty products. So here I offer one of the cheapest, easiest scrubs you can make at home. Hope you like it.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Aspirin tablet
  • washcloth
  • water
  • a spoon
  1. Step 1

Begin by rinsing the face with warm water to remove dirt and old makeup.
Fold the washcloth in half and then fold it in half again.

  2. Step 2

Lay the washcloth on a hard surface, lay the aspirin tablet on the washcloth and dampen with water. Let the aspirin soften a little.

  3. Step 3

Crush the aspirin tablet with the back of a spoon until you have a grainy powder. Add a little more water.

  4. Step 4

Now begin to gently scrub your face with the aspirin particles. Rinse with cool water, pat damp dry, and apply your favorite moisturizer.

Tips & Warnings
  • I have oily skin and I do this about once per week. You be the judge according to your skin type.
  • If you have an allergy to aspirin check with your physician before you try this.
