How to Find a Free Online Dating Site

There are so many dating websites out there that it is so hard to decide which one to try. Many of them are expensive and others while they may be reasonable start to add up.

If you are paying 15 dollars a month indefinitely then that will start to add up for you.

Why not try some of the free online dating sites? I have tried many of both the paid and the free and here are my suggestions.

• A computer or access to one
• A photo to upload for your dating profile

1. I have joined many of the paying dating websites only to find that two of the free ones are better! I have actually made more friends and had more dates using these two sites and I want to share them with you.

2. Just Say Hi - This site just changed it's name to Mingle2 but it is still the same great free website. You can make friends while posting in the forums or find dates. You can search from a wide area and different countries too!

3. Plenty of Fish - This one has been around longer - the forums are more extensive and take a little time to get used to but this site is great and free too. You can take a free personality test there too. Check it out!

4. You will need a photo or two to start off your dating profile. One closeup and one full length photo should do. Try not to have photo's that include other people

5. Write your dating profile as truthfully as possible. After all if you meet (and that is the what you want to do) they will see how tall or short you are or how fat or skinny you are.
   
   Have fun with it too! Make them laugh as they read your profile. Make them want to get to know you!

Tips & Warnings

• Never meet in a private place or at someone's house. Always meet in a public place
• Try one of the local get togethers - here you can bring a friend and meet lots of other singles
• Do not give out your address or phone number - get to know them first. You cannot trust everyone.
• Tell your friends or family if you are meeting someone for the first time. where you will be, what time, etc. Just to make sure you are safe.
