The weather is warm and your in the mood for some nice cold ice cream.... but your a vegan. Well worry no longer here is an easy recipe for soy nut and tofu ice cream that you can make and still enjoy those warm or cold ice cream craving moments....

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Soy nuts
  • Soft tofu
  • Granulate sugar
  • Soy milk
  • Almond extract
  • Ice cream maker
  1. Step 1

    You can still enjoy ice cream. Just because you no longer choose to consume dairy, does not mean that this is check off as well. Are you wanting that nice cold tasteful feeling of ice cream? Just not sure how? well here you go this recipe is easy to make and fun to enjoy. Try adding your own flavoring if your not an almond fan. Some great toppings would be an added plus. This is a recipe that will make about 12 cups. grab a container there will be left overs....

  2. Step 2

    7 oz. soy nuts
    2 lb. soft tofu
    5 oz. granulated sugar
    12 oz. soy milk
    1 TSP. almond extract (or what ever other flavor you prefer)

  3. Step 3

    Place the soy nuts in a food processor, you want to pulse to a coarse consistency. Place the tofu and sugar in the processor and blend until smooth. While the processor is mixing the soy nuts and tofu, slowly add the soy milk and almond extract. Continue until smooth. At this point take out the ice cream maker and pour the ingredients into it. Each ice cream maker has different directions on how to process the dessert. Please follow the directions as stated in your manual. Chill mixture and enjoy. From my kitchen to yours....
