Your wrapped gifts look like you got in a fight with the ribbon...and lost. Here is a quick way to make your wrapped gifts look perfect every time.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • flat gift ribbon on a roll
  • gift wrap
  • gift in a box
  • double stick tape
  • regular tape
  1. Step 1

Measure your paper so that it's at least two inches longer than you will need to cover the box both ways.

  2. Step 2

Fold to see where the paper will fall by the edge. Using the regular tape, anchor the paper to the box with the other edge. If the outside edge is jagged, fold to make smooth. Stick with double-sided tape.

  3. Step 3

Fold in the corners of the other edges. Stick with double-sided tape.

  4. Step 4

Cut ribbon so it's about 1 inch longer than needed. Tape one end on the center of the top of the box. Bring the other end up to meet in center. Tape that end as well. Repeat with second ribbon, so that you now have a cross.

  5. Step 5

cut two small pieces of ribbon and tape to form an "x" over the cross.

  6. Step 6

Stick a gift bow in the middle. Perfect!

Tips & Warnings
  • You can also make a big curling ribbon bow by cutting several pieces of curling ribbon the same length and tying them together.
