1. The fastest way to fade jeans is to throw them in the washer and dryer every time you wear them. The only way to keep your jeans looking new is to not wash them at all.

2. If you can't stand the thought of not washing your jeans, just wash them after every 4-5 wearing. Spot clean as needed - Tide spot cleaners are perfect for this.

3. Some die-hard jeans lovers throw their jeans in the freezer instead of washing them. This will kill any odors you may have picked up, and keep your jeans from going through the washer and dryer.

4. If you must wash your jeans (the freezer isn't going to take out stains) hand wash them in cold water with color-protecting or gentler detergent. Hang them up to dry - the dryer will remove color and make the fabric shrink.
