Things You'll Need:
- comb
- brush
- scarf
-
Step 1
Step 1. Bedtime is the perfect time to wrap your hair. Start from the center of your scalp. Depending on the texture of your hair, add some leave in conditioner or moisturizer. Comb hair downward from the scalp down.
-
Step 2
Step 2. Starting in the front, on the left or right side, make a part and begin combing your hair in a circular motion around your head. Continue doing this until your hair has been combed into a "flat" cone shape. All of your hair should be combed up and around, none should be hanging down.
-
Step 3
Step 3. After you wrap your hair. Brush it to make sure it stays in place. Next, tie a large scarf all the way around your head. If not, use any kind of scarf (silk is best), bandana style with the knot in the back. Your wrap will stay best if you tie another scarf the opposite way. This way, your whole head is covered.
-
Step 4
Step 4. Wear your bedtime wrap all night. The next morning, make a part and comb your hair downward in the same direction as the wrap. Your hair should be straight and hang loosely.
