Step 1
The first thing you need to do is figure out what kind of paint you want and where to get it. I went to Michael's and bought regular wood paint but I later found that acrylic paint makes the earrings shiner and just looks better. The paint brushes should be around the same area. Next you need to find out what kind of shapes you want. Most craft stores have thin wood cut outs that would be great for you earring. After you have your paint and shapes don't forget to get some kind of hole puncher and backs for your earrings.

Step 2
After you have all of your supplies the next thing you need to do is figure out what designs you want on them.If you want solid colors that's fine. However if you want designs I found it to be much easier if you draw them on the wood shapes first then paint them.

Step 3
After you have painted you earrings and let them dry you must now punch a hole at the top of the shapes and insert your earring backs. I use the backs that kind of look like the top of a coat hanger. Or if you prefer skip the hole punching a hot glue clip on backs to the wood shapes.

Step 4
Enjoy your beautiful earrings with all your favorite earrings!!!
