Having good credit can effect you throughout your life. Having good credit can help you get credit instantly with opening credit cards. If you build good credit over the years this may help you later on with mortgages and other loans.

However there are a few things you can do to build good credit now. This article will tell you a few ways you can build and get good credit.

    Check your credit report. Make sure your credit is accurate. Look online at your credit scores and credit reports to check your history.

  2. Step 2

    Pay utility bills (and others) on time all the time. Having a monthly utility bill that you pay on time will help you build credit up for the future.

    Get a credit card. Getting a credit card and using it wisely can help you build credit over a long time while also giving you credit instantly Use only the credit card when you have that money ready to pay for the full bill. The best thing you can do is to not use all of the credit and to pay the entire bill on time all the time to improve and build good credit.

  4. Step 4

    Get a Checking account and Savings account with the bank you might be looking to get good credit in the future with. This will begin to establish a positive relationship with the bank and help you build and get good credit in the future.
