Things You'll Need:
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons salsa
- 1/4 cup shredded carrot
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup thinly chopped onion
- 3 tablespoons shredded apple
- 1 pound ground turkey

Step 1
First you will need to get a medium mixing bowl. You will need to stir in the bread crumbs, salsa, carrot, onion, apple, and salt. Then peel and mince the garlic and add to this mixture. Then beat the egg in a small bowl and add to the mixture. Make sure all the ingredients are mixed together.

Then you will need to crumble in the turkey and mix together very well until all ingredients are mixed in. Then you can shape into patties to your desired thickness. Then you can cook by the method of your choice. You can grill, pan fry, or broil. These take about 8 minutes on each side or until the meat thermometer reads 165 degrees.

Then place on your buns and serve with the toppings of your choice. This is a great alterative to the hamburger. This burger is full of flavor and low on fat. Serve with some fresh vegetables that you grill along side for a great low fat dinner.
